Our Salt & Sand retreat features a remarkable herd of Arabian-Barb stallions, known for their strength, elegance, and gentle nature. Although they stand at a modest height of 15 to 16 hands, these horses are powerful, dynamic, and exceptionally well-trained. Their calm, respectful demeanor makes them a joy to ride, whether you're an experienced equestrian or newer to the saddle.

We carefully match each rider to a horse, ensuring the perfect fit based on temperament and skill level. The herd includes a variety of ages, from energetic younger horses to reliable middle-aged companions and a few wise older stallions, all of whom ride comfortably with English tack. With a range of temperaments to suit every rider and a weight limit of approximately 185 pounds, we guarantee an unforgettable equestrian experience where you can confidently connect with these extraordinary animals.

    ARAN

    Hossain’s Heart Horse
    At 5 and a half years old, this exceptional horse is deeply connected to Hossain. With a strong character and keen sensitivity, he feels every emotion of his rider. Confident and full of charm, he thrives with experienced riders and is the star of every photoshoot. Trained at liberty, he offers an exciting and rewarding ride for those with confidence and skill.

    GANDALF

    Mr. Sugar
    At 12 years old, Gandalf is a perfectly trained, easygoing horse suitable for all levels. Hossain affectionately calls him “Sugar” because of his sweet and gentle nature that wins everyone over. His calm demeanor makes him the ideal choice for timid riders and beginners, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. He’s always ready to make new friends, both on and off the trail.

    At 16 years old, Chaman is the oldest and most trusted horse in the herd. His calm and gentle nature makes him perfect for riders of all levels, even complete beginners. Hossain trusts him more than any other horse—Chaman has a magical way of making every rider feel safe and confident. Even children can ride him, making him the ultimate gentle guardian on the trail.

    WONKA

    A Sweet Ride with a Playful Twist
    Wonka is a well-trained horse suitable for all levels, though he’s best enjoyed by a confident intermediate rider. With his adorable white blaze and fluffy mane, he’s as cute as he is talented, making him a favorite both on and off the trail. He’s always ready to add a little magic to your ride.

    ANAKIN

    Strong with the Force, Perfect for the Ride
    Anakin was the first horse Hossain ever bought, and after 7 years together, they’ve built an unbreakable bond. Now 10 years old, Anakin is a brilliantly trained and incredibly smart horse with a personality as strong as the Force. His special character makes him an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced riders . Just like his namesake, Anakin is powerful, loyal, and always ready for adventure.

    IVAR

    Bold, Fast, and Full of Heart
    At 7 years old, Ivar is a striking liver chestnut with a lively and spirited personality. He thrives with intermediate riders and loves to race alongside other horses, bringing excitement to every ride. With a confident rider, he quickly accepts authority and becomes a responsive and enjoyable partner. His energy and enthusiasm make him a fun and rewarding choice for those ready to keep up with his pace.

    At 6 years old, Shadow is a clever and intuitive horse who tests his rider’s confidence from the start. If the rider isn’t sure of themselves, he’s quick to take charge. Hossain rides him most often, knowing him inside and out. For confident riders, Shadow offers a smooth, comfortable ride. He loves running alongside other horses, embracing his wild spirit. Shadow is the star of Instagram.
